Waterborne epoxy anticorrosive paint

Characteristics:
a. Excellent anticorrosion performance;
b. Excellent oil, water, salt water, and solvent resistant properties;
c. Dense tenacious film, good adhesion to the substrate;
d. Easy-constructing, non environment polluting.
Introduction:
Refined by waterborne epoxy resin, epoxy curing agent, pigment, functional fillers and special additives, etc.
Application:
Mainly used in metal heavy-duty areas such as: bridge, oil pipeline, ship, lifting machinery, steel, transformer, train, automobile, and other parts which require a higher anticorrosion resistance, also used in location above the design waterline and internal structure of offshore platform, inner surface of vessel drinking water storage, location above the design waterline and internal structure of the ship.

Construction process:
- Surface processing of workpieces: The surface processing contains degreasing, derusting, phosphating, etc. These processes could be adopted entirely or partially according to the surface state of workpiece, construction request of water-based coating and the use environment of workpiece,etc.
- Match with shop primer, brushing or spraying, diluted with proper water, do not add water excessively.
- The surface of being painted should be clean,do not have oil spots, floating ash, etc.
- Mix the two components A and B in regular proportion before use, and stirred uniformly, and construct after 15 minutes. Pot life: 6 h.
- The thickness, temperature, humidity, flow of air affect the drying behaviour of the film heavily. The suitable construction condition: the temperature is not below 5℃, the humidity not above 75%. No adverse effect to airless spraying.
- Before painting the second coat, the first coat should dry out, otherwise the lifting may occur, the film will wrinkle. The time between the first and second coat must be over 24h.
- The environment should clean, protecting the film being polluted.
- Do not mix with other products or organic solvents. Wash all tools with water immediately after painting to avoid hardening.
- When the temperature and humidity are high, we should prolong the the time to stack to prevent adhesion and indentation.
Storage:
Both component A and B are waterborne resin, which can be stored in ventilation and drying storehouse. Storage time: 6 months, Storage temperature: 5℃-35℃; Avoid cold, sun exposure and rain when transporting.
